Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April this year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam, which included the work Yellow footed bowl by Lucie Rie. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,930.00 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lucie Rie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yellow Footed Bowl With Bronzed Rim in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 141,814.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yellow footed bowl von Lucie Rie zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.930,00 und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lucie Rie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yellow Footed Bowl With Bronzed Rim im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 141.814,10).
