This artwork by Lucie Rie achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in April 2021. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, the work Bowl with pouring lip sold for GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,493.67) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lucie Rie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yellow Footed Bowl With Bronzed Rim in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 141,814.10).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucie Rie erzielte im April 2021 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Wired: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit Bowl with pouring lip für GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.493,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lucie Rie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yellow Footed Bowl With Bronzed Rim im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 141.814,10).
