Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Return of the Hunters by Dale William Nichols was sold in the American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 52,500.00 (€ 44,125.06). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dale William Nichols - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Farm Scene, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 112,500.00 (€ 99,672.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Return of the Hunters von Dale William Nichols wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 52.500,00 (€ 44.125,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dale William Nichols mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Farm Scene beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 112.500,00 (€ 99.672,19) versteigert wurde.
