In the Modern American Art auction, the work Amidst the Glaciers sold for USD 88,200.00 (€ 79,891.30) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Dale William Nichols; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Farm Scene sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of USD 112,500.00 (€ 99,672.19).
