In May 2018 Christies in New York held the auction American Art Online, which included the work Guatemala Volcanoes by Dale William Nichols. The »bidding war« ended at USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,280.21), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Dale William Nichols have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Farm Scene in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 99,672.19).

Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Guatemala Volcanoes von Dale William Nichols zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.280,21) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dale William Nichols auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Farm Scene im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 99.672,19).
