Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Rural Farmhouse by Dale William Nichols. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,310.23). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dale William Nichols achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Farm Scene in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 99,672.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rural Farmhouse von Dale William Nichols zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.310,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dale William Nichols erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Farm Scene im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 99.672,19).
