Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sanjie by Cui Xiuwen was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2012. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,499.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cui Xiuwen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work One Day In 2004 No.6 in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 58,000.00 (€ 40,790.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sanjie von Cui Xiuwen kam im März 2012 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.499,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cui Xiuwen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit One Day In 2004 No.6 im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 58.000,00 (€ 40.790,49).
