Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Angel No. 7 by Cui Xiuwen was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Beijing in December 2013. The price achieved of CNY 165,200.00 (€ 19,806.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cui Xiuwen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work One Day In 2004 No.6, which sold at auction in September 2007 for USD 58,000.00 (€ 40,790.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Angel No. 7 von Cui Xiuwen wurde im Dezember 2013 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Beijing versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 165.200,00 (€ 19.806,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Cui Xiuwen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit One Day In 2004 No.6 beobachtet, die im September 2007 für USD 58.000,00 (€ 40.790,49) versteigert wurde.
