Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 16:9 by Cory Arcangel was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,148.74). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cory Arcangel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Photoshop CS: 110 by 72 inches, 300 DPI, RGB, square pixels, default gradient "Spectrum," mousedown y=31100 x=1500, mouse up y=32850 x=800 in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 325,000.00 (€ 376,976.69).
