The »bidding war« ended at GBP 233,100.00 (€ 276,160.54), 55% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Cory Arcangel; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Photoshop CS: 110 by 72 inches, 300 DPI, RGB, square pixels, default gradient "Spectrum," mousedown y=31100 x=1500, mouse up y=32850 x=800 sold at auction in October 2019 with the realized price of GBP 325,000.00 (€ 376,976.69).
