Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Horses ploughing the land by Bernardus Cornelis Noltee for EUR 875.00. This price was achieved in the auction Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernardus Cornelis Noltee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Autumn day along a canal, Amsterdam in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 12,250.00.

Im September 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Horses ploughing the land von Bernardus Cornelis Noltee für EUR 875,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernardus Cornelis Noltee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An Autumn day along a canal, Amsterdam im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.250,00.
