Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures, which included the work Streetscene in Amsterdam, the Westertoren in the distance by Bernardus Cornelis Noltee. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,125.00. Admittedly, works by Bernardus Cornelis Noltee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Autumn day along a canal, Amsterdam in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 12,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Streetscene in Amsterdam, the Westertoren in the distance von Bernardus Cornelis Noltee zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernardus Cornelis Noltee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Autumn day along a canal, Amsterdam im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.250,00.
