Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Along a quay by Bernardus Cornelis Noltee was sold in the Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. The price achieved of EUR 1,187.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernardus Cornelis Noltee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Autumn day along a canal, Amsterdam in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 12,250.00.

Die Arbeit Along a quay von Bernardus Cornelis Noltee wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.187,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernardus Cornelis Noltee erzielen.
