Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Art Day Sale auction, the work Seascape changed hands for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,289.97) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Afternoon Sun, Crimea in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 92,516.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov konnte im November 2013 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Art Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Seascape für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.289,97) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Afternoon Sun, Crimea im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 92.516,26).
