Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Seascape by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,478.48). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 18,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Afternoon Sun, Crimea in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 92,516.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seascape von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.478,48) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Afternoon Sun, Crimea im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 92.516,26).
