This work of art by Constantin Macris could be acquired at Artcurial in Paris in October 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Composition Abstraite changed hands for EUR 191.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constantin Macris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 3,444.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Constantin Macris konnte im Oktober 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Composition Abstraite für EUR 191,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constantin Macris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.444,00.
