Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition Abstraite, 1959 by Constantin Macris was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2010. It achieved a price of EUR 829.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18 %. Admittedly, works by Constantin Macris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 3,444.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1959 von Constantin Macris kam im März 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 829,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constantin Macris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.444,00.
