Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Colin Campbell Cooper could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in April 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art auction, the work The Rapids, Laufenburg, Switzerland And Columns In Landscape: Two Works changed hands for USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,359.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Colin Campbell Cooper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New York Public Library in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 881,000.00 (€ 566,195.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Colin Campbell Cooper konnte im April 2017 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Art wechselte die Arbeit The Rapids, Laufenburg, Switzerland And Columns In Landscape: Two Works für USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.359,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Colin Campbell Cooper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit New York Public Library im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 881.000,00 (€ 566.195,37).
