This artwork by Colin Campbell Cooper achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. In the California Art auction, the work Summer Veranda sold for USD 31,875.00 (€ 30,877.65) - well above the upper estimate of USD 16,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Colin Campbell Cooper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New York Public Library in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 881,000.00 (€ 566,195.37).

In der Auktion California Art wurde die Arbeit Summer Veranda für USD 31.875,00 (€ 30.877,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 16.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Colin Campbell Cooper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit New York Public Library im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 881.000,00 (€ 566.195,37).
