Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Trellis at Encanto by Colin Campbell Cooper was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,737.50 (€ 5,557.98). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Colin Campbell Cooper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New York Public Library in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 881,000.00 (€ 566,195.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Trellis at Encanto von Colin Campbell Cooper kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.737,50 (€ 5.557,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Colin Campbell Cooper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit New York Public Library im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 881.000,00 (€ 566.195,37).
