Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Verticale III' by Claudio Verna was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 44,000.00 (€ 3,726.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claudio Verna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quasi classico, which sold at auction in May 2021 for EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Verticale III' von Claudio Verna wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 44.000,00 (€ 3.726,34) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Claudio Verna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quasi classico beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für EUR 10.000,00 versteigert wurde.
