Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Slittamento by Claudio Verna was sold in the Post war and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in November 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,364.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Claudio Verna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Quasi classico in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Slittamento von Claudio Verna wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion Post war and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.364,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claudio Verna auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Quasi classico im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
