Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A5 by Claudio Verna was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2001. The price achieved of ITL 3,675,000.00 (€ 3,477.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as ITL 3,000,000.00 – 4,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claudio Verna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quasi classico, which sold at auction in May 2021 for EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A5 von Claudio Verna kam im Mai 2001 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von ITL 3.675.000,00 (€ 3.477,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit ITL 3.000.000,00 – 4.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Claudio Verna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quasi classico beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für EUR 10.000,00 versteigert wurde.
