In September 2017 Christies in London held the auction First Open, which included the work Flips 2 by Claudia Comte. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,926.99), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Claudia Comte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Suspended Marble Raspberry (study) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 44,500.00 (€ 51,616.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im September 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flips 2 von Claudia Comte zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.926,99) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claudia Comte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Suspended Marble Raspberry (study) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.500,00 (€ 51.616,81).
