In December 2016 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Drawings and British Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work Satyrs preparing a sacrifice by Claude Gillot. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,553.52), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Gillot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures In An Elegant Interior Watching An Entertainment With Commedia Dell'Arte Characters in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 98,089.00).

Im Dezember 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Drawings and British Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Satyrs preparing a sacrifice von Claude Gillot zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.553,52) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Gillot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures In An Elegant Interior Watching An Entertainment With Commedia Dell'Arte Characters im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 98.089,00).
