In November 2013 Artcurial held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, which included the work Arlequin, Empereur Dans La Lune : Scène Du Combat by Claude Gillot. The price achieved of EUR 69,950.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Claude Gillot have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2016 the work Figures In An Elegant Interior Watching An Entertainment With Commedia Dell'Arte Characters was auctioned for USD 106,250.00 (€ 98,089.00).

Im November 2013 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arlequin, Empereur Dans La Lune : Scène Du Combat von Claude Gillot zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 69.950,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden.
