Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Christies in London held the auction A Century of Art: Photographs from The Gerald Fineberg Collection, which included the work Nostalgia Head, No. 2, 1948 by Clarence John Laughlin. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,670.00 (€ 5,365.25). Other works by Clarence John Laughlin have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,262.73) in October 2016 for the work 'The Final Act (Belle Grove Plantation)'.

Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion A Century of Art: Photographs from The Gerald Fineberg Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nostalgia Head, No. 2, 1948 von Clarence John Laughlin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.670,00 (€ 5.365,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Clarence John Laughlin haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.262,73) im Oktober 2016 für die Arbeit 'The Final Act (Belle Grove Plantation)' beobachtet.
