This artwork by Cildo Meireles achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in April last year. In the New Now auction, the work INSERÇÕES EM IDEOLÕGICOS: Projeto Coca-Cola (Insertions into Ideological Circuits: Coca-Cola Project) sold for GBP 21,420.00 (€ 25,542.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cildo Meireles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rodos in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 641,000.00 (€ 583,045.30).

In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit INSERÇÕES EM IDEOLÕGICOS: Projeto Coca-Cola (Insertions into Ideological Circuits: Coca-Cola Project) für GBP 21.420,00 (€ 25.542,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cildo Meireles erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rodos im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 641.000,00 (€ 583.045,30).
