This artwork by Cildo Meireles achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2015. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Rodos sold for USD 641,000.00 (€ 583,045.30) - well above the upper estimate of USD 350,000.00. This high result makes Rodos the most expensive artwork by Cildo Meireles that we have observed at auctions so far.
