Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (from 'Guest') by Christopher Bucklow was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in New York in April last year. The price achieved of USD 4,788.00 (€ 4,543.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Christopher Bucklow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Guest, 5:57pm, 12 May 1998 in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 18,800.00 (€ 22,154.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (from 'Guest') von Christopher Bucklow wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.788,00 (€ 4.543,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christopher Bucklow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Guest, 5:57pm, 12 May 1998 im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.800,00 (€ 22.154,14).
