Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Christies in London held the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Tetrach 10:34Am 4Th December by Christopher Bucklow. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,873.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christopher Bucklow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Guest, 5:57pm, 12 May 1998, which sold at auction in October 2000 for USD 18,800.00 (€ 22,154.14).
