In February 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Ha Ha Ha Ostrovsky Again by Christian Rosa. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,180.05), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Christian Rosa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Something In The Way in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 116,500.00 (€ 148,753.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ha Ha Ha Ostrovsky Again von Christian Rosa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.180,05) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christian Rosa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Something In The Way im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 116.500,00 (€ 148.753,67).
