Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Christian Hellmich was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in February 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,100.00 (€ 21,058.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Christian Hellmich have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Kiosk II was auctioned for USD 54,000.00 (€ 40,139.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Christian Hellmich wurde im Februar 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.100,00 (€ 21.058,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Christian Hellmich konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2007 die Arbeit Kiosk II für USD 54.000,00 (€ 40.139,75) versteigert.
