In December 2012 Phillips in London held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Eingang III by Christian Hellmich. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,332.78) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Hellmich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kiosk II, which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 54,000.00 (€ 40,139.75).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2012 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eingang III von Christian Hellmich zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.332,78) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Hellmich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kiosk II beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für USD 54.000,00 (€ 40.139,75) versteigert wurde.
