Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work Paragon by Christian Hellmich for HKD 27,720.00 (€ 3,351.55). This price was achieved in the auction Faces Places: Online Auction at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Hellmich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kiosk II in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 54,000.00 (€ 40,139.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paragon von Christian Hellmich für HKD 27.720,00 (€ 3.351,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Faces Places: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Hellmich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kiosk II im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 54.000,00 (€ 40.139,75).
