Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Enklave by Christian Hellmich was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2020. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,948.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Christian Hellmich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kiosk II in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 54,000.00 (€ 40,139.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Enklave von Christian Hellmich kam im August 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.948,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christian Hellmich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kiosk II im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 54.000,00 (€ 40.139,75).
