Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Christian Hellmich was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in London in December 2007. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 16,985.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Hellmich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kiosk II, which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 54,000.00 (€ 40,139.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Christian Hellmich wurde im Dezember 2007 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 16.985,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Hellmich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kiosk II beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für USD 54.000,00 (€ 40.139,75) versteigert wurde.
