Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work I'M Sorry To Hear About Your Hangover (Nyp) by Chris Succo for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,204.89). This price was achieved in the auction The Hoarder Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Chris Succo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Everything In It's Right Place (BKNP) in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 61,795.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit I'M Sorry To Hear About Your Hangover (Nyp) von Chris Succo für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.204,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Hoarder Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chris Succo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Everything In It's Right Place (BKNP) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 45.000,00 (€ 61.795,38).
