Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ali Versus The Beatles, 1964 by Chris Smith was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2016. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,962.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chris Smith have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ali And The Beatles, 1964 in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,136.87).

Die Arbeit Ali Versus The Beatles, 1964 von Chris Smith wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
