In the Made in Britain auction, the work Ali And The Beatles, 1964 sold for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,522.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Chris Smith; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ali And The Beatles, 1964 sold at auction in September 2018 with the realized price of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,136.87).
