Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mr & Mrs Mylroi, Church Farm, Cregneash, 1973 by Chris Killip was sold in the Made In Britain auction at Sothebys in London in April 2014. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,825.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chris Killip have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rocker And Rosie Going Home, Seacoal Beach, Lynemouth, Northumberland, Uk, 1984 in April 2014 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,933.08).

Die Arbeit Mr & Mrs Mylroi, Church Farm, Cregneash, 1973 von Chris Killip wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Made In Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.825,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden.
