Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Choco in the Flower Shop by Choi So-Young was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2021. The price achieved of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,654.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Choi So-Young have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Snow Covered Landscape in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,960,000.00 (€ 226,539.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Choco in the Flower Shop von Choi So-Young kam im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.654,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Choi So-Young auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Snow Covered Landscape im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.960.000,00 (€ 226.539,74).
