The work Walking Through the Brick Houses by Choi So-Young was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 687,500.00 (€ 80,669.00), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Choi So-Young - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Snow Covered Landscape, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 1,960,000.00 (€ 226,539.74).

Die Arbeit Walking Through the Brick Houses von Choi So-Young wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 80.669,00) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Choi So-Young mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Snow Covered Landscape beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 1.960.000,00 (€ 226.539,74) versteigert wurde.
