Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2007 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Chinatsu Ban for USD 1,200.00 (€ 875.21). This price was achieved in the auction Open House at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chinatsu Ban achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Favorite Things- Eighth Of Ten Brothers (Set Of Two) in October 2009 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 41,528.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2007 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Chinatsu Ban für USD 1.200,00 (€ 875,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Open House bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chinatsu Ban erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Favorite Things- Eighth Of Ten Brothers (Set Of Two) im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 41.528,30).
