This artwork by Chen Yu achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the The Schoeni Family Collection auction, the work Untitled Series 2007 No.5，2012 No.6（Two Pieces）(Painted In 1997) sold for HKD 21,240.00 (€ 2,337.71) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled No. 4, 2006 in September 2020 with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 55,483.87).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Yu erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Schoeni Family Collection wurde die Arbeit Untitled Series 2007 No.5，2012 No.6（Two Pieces）(Painted In 1997) für HKD 21.240,00 (€ 2.337,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled No. 4, 2006 im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 55.483,87).
