A top price for Chen Yu
The work Untitled No. 4, 2006 by Chen Yu was worth HKD 504,000.00 (€ 55,483.87) to a buyer in September 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art | Hong Kong at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Untitled No. 4, 2006 the most expensive artwork by Chen Yu that we have observed at auctions so far.
