The work Renaissance in the Bush by Chen Fei was worth HKD 907,200.00 (€ 107,704.11) to a buyer in May last year. This price was achieved in the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Chen Fei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Left Fist Has No Strength in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 7,210,000.00 (€ 762,152.70).

Die Arbeit Renaissance in the Bush von Chen Fei war einem Käufer im Mai letzten Jahres HKD 907.200,00 (€ 107.704,11) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Fei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Left Fist Has No Strength im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.210.000,00 (€ 762.152,70).
