This artwork by Chen Fei achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in June 2021. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art and Design Day Sale in association with Phillips auction, the work Playing among Flowers sold for HKD 567,000.00 (€ 61,590.90) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 240,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Fei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Left Fist Has No Strength in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 7,210,000.00 (€ 762,152.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Fei erzielte im Juni 2021 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art and Design Day Sale in association with Phillips wurde die Arbeit Playing among Flowers für HKD 567.000,00 (€ 61.590,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 240.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Fei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Left Fist Has No Strength im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.210.000,00 (€ 762.152,70).
