Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Nanyang Landscape by Chen Chong Swee. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 214,200.00 (€ 25,430.14), 19% above the upper estimate. Other works by Chen Chong Swee have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 25,953.89) in November 2015 for the work Nanyang Landscape.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nanyang Landscape von Chen Chong Swee zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 214.200,00 (€ 25.430,14) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Chong Swee haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 25.953,89) im November 2015 für die Arbeit Nanyang Landscape beobachtet.
