Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Landscape by Chen Chong Swee. The price achieved of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 14,785.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 180,000.00. Other works by Chen Chong Swee have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Nanyang Landscape was auctioned for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 25,953.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Chen Chong Swee zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 14.785,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Chong Swee konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Nanyang Landscape für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 25.953,89) versteigert.
